How to Join
Please request the Official Randburg Photo Club Application Form from randphotoclubinsta@gmail.com to apply for membership .
Once the membership fee is paid and proof of payment received, the new member will be added to Photo Vault, the club's email list and Whatsapp group.
New Member Star Rating
New joiners to the club will be placed in the 1 star Category.
Experienced photographers may submit a panel (10 to 15) of his/her images to assist the committee in its deliberations of a grading.
We encourage members who join as advanced workers from other clubs to make the committee aware of this. Their rating will be taken into account at the new club.
Formal Club Meetings
Formal Club meetings take place at the Randpark Golf Club (Setperk Rd, Randpark 268-Iq, Randburg, 2194) on the 1st Thursday of every month.
The meeting starts at 19:00. Except January, then the meeting will be the second Thursday of January.
During the formal meeting there will be a guest speaker or presentation followed by the judging of the photos entered in the monthly club competition.
Monthly Club Competition
You are allowed to enter 3 images per club evening, submitted via Photo Vault Online. Only one image may be entered in the set subject section.
Four categories will be available for entry.

The Images are judged by three judges.
Informal Club Meetings
Every second Thursday of the month (or as otherwise communicated) the Club meets at the Randpark Golf Club, Setperk Street, Randpark.
For the informal evening, members are encouraged to bring images in either print of digital format. The meeting attendees will be asked to discuss the images in terms of merit and areas of improvement.
Authors may be requested to explain how the image was taken.
At the informal evening, no awards are given to images. The purpose of the meeting is to learn and explore outside of a competitive scenario.
The chairman of the meeting will ensure that the discussion is constructive and in good spirits.
Outings
The club regularly arrange planned photography outings and the members can arrange informal outings. Details are shared on email as well as a WhatsApp group.
